Periodically Throughout the Year . . .
"Regency Assembly Dances & Teas"
and
Early 19th c. worskhops
at
The High Point Museum
Please check back often for updates to our calendar!
We are planning many "diversions & excursions" including picnicking, special fetes, a Pride & Prejudice 200th Anniversary Ball, Regency jewelry and more! Venues, location details and maps will be published apace.
Assembly dances include music, dance lessons, tea & conversation and every attempt will be made for little or no charge for events. However horses must be fed and candles must be purchased, so your kind understanding is requested. Period dress is always admired but NOT required.
Period sewing workshops will be held frequently throughout the year. Materials are often provided and bringing your own project is always welcome. Draws for prizes add to the fun. Reservations are often required and a nominal fees are charged from time-to-time.
We welcome ALL whose interests include any aspect of the Regency period. Students of every age - ALL are most welcome! Napoleonic Historical Society members might be special guests from time-to-time and one never knows who else might come by to call.
