Bring your pin money as bonnets & supplies will be for sale.  A Silent Auction of a bonnet & draws for prizes will complement this extraordinary learning opportunity .

We are planning many "diversions & excursions to 1812" including picnicking in Historic Hillsborough NC; a tour of Mr. Jefferson's Retreat at Poplar Grove; a special fete in honor of First Lady Dolley Madison's birthday in May and a Jane Austen Birthday Celebration in December of course! Venues, location details and maps will be published apace.

  Assembly dances will include music, dance lessons, tea & conversation
 and every attempt will be made for little or no charge for events. However horses must be fed and candles must be purchased, so your kind under-standing is requested. Period dress is always admired but not required.
                      
  Period sewing workshops will be held on the first Saturday of every month  with the exception of  April, July and September. Materials are provided and bringing your own project is always welcome. Draws for prizes add to the fun.  Reservations are not required and a nominal fee will be charged at the door.  

We welcome ALL whose interests include any aspect of the Regency period. Musicians, dancers, students of all ages -  ALL are most welcome!  Napoleonic Historical Society members might be special guests from time-to-time and one never knows who else might come by to call.
